Imagine your children took the same interest and wonder in Jesus and the Christian message as they did in princesses, fairies, and elves… Jesus Sees Us is a packaged Jesus Christ doll that has the same comforting power as a child’s favorite toy or blanket, but is rooted in lessons that last a lifetime. Children respond to the comfort of tangible items when they are young, so why not make that item Jesus and the comfort He gives to ignite their faith? The accompanying book is a tool to assist you in engaging your child and starting the conversation about Jesus’ teachings.
The Jesus Sees Us doll is an integral part of fostering your child’s initial introduction to Jesus. Even though we talk to our children about Jesus or take them to Sunday services, they are not always able to understand the importance of the Christian message. Jesus Sees Us is a tool that makes Jesus, His teachings, and the concept of faith both relatable and positive to young children by introducing Him as the loving and forgiving presence in our lives. The doll becomes the tangible connection to the stories and lessons in the book. He is the touchable source of comfort that a child can relate to. The Jesus Sees Us doll has a soft body and a warm, welcoming face. His arms and hands are open, inviting your child to hold him, engage with him, and pray with him. The Jesus Sees Us doll allows your child to “play out” the valuable and timeless lessons of the Bible.

Title: Green Gooey Goop
Author: Anna C. Morrison
Publisher: Green Gooey Goop
Genre: Children’s Picture Book
A little girl is presented with a different sort of meal when her mom serves her green gooey goop. Interesting and icky ingredients appear one by one as the little girl decides what’s in this noxious-smelling concoction. The little girl creates a flood, and her dog’s fur turns green. Suggested age range for readers: 0-8
This book was written to capture the moment when a child is confronted by healthy food that, while nutritious, may not appear to be delicious. Many children react imaginatively to new foods, and the child in this book is no exception. She envisions the ingredients as other than what her mother describes in the first part of the book in an attempt to get out of eating the food. When she realizes she must eat it anyway, it spills onto the family dog, who may or may not be green forever!
I hope you enjoy starting a conversation with your child about the value of eating healthy foods that also taste delicious. Thank you for reading Green Gooey Goop!
“Green Gooey Goop, a children’s book by Anna C. Morrison, narrates the story of a mom who tries to add more green to her child’s meal. She prepares a smoothie-like food with diverse green ingredients inside for her little girl who imagines the green smoothie as a mixture of disgusting and awful things such as sweaty socks and monkey. The little girl needs to eat the smelly green sandwich. She drops it and her dog licks the green stuff spilled on him. What happens to the poor dog is a mystery.
Readers, kids or adults, will enjoy the descriptive and rhyming story of a little girl who hates green stuff in her food. Everyone will enjoy reading this book since it’s a common story among kids who prefer more sweets and chocolates rather than green nutritious vegetables. We may have had the same experience when we were children. Morrison just reminds us of the healthiness of green foods. Green Gooey Goop is a fun and insightful book for its readers.
The intuitive and adorable illustrations by Alexander Morris help kids be part of the story, by letting them see horrible things brewing up from the pot mom gave to the little girl. The colors are vivid and attract readers, inviting them to enjoy it to the last moment. This book is a reminder to its readers to live healthily and stop making excuses since vegetables are good for everyone. We must change our eating habits and nutrition to live better and healthier lives.”

I love reading to the children and this is one very neat book to help you get the ball rolling for getting kids to eat those not so appealing foods that are better for them. I like to make a game of them eating stuff and this book just encourages just the same. So share this book with all your kids and grand kids or just any kids you know. But the main this is make eating fun and exciting so they will want to try everything.
